As a litigator and counselor, Lisa Curry represents dog breeders, owners and handlers in contract and ownership disputes (including those in litigation), preparation and review of contracts, and various AKC compliance issues. Lisa has first-hand experience with the dog world, having raised and shown West Highland White Terriers for a number of years. Her interest in dog law grew out of her interest in conformation showing. Lisa’s articles have been published in the AKC Gazette as well as several breed club magazines.
Lisa Curry’s practice also includes general civil litigation, particularly employment law. She handles both defense-side and plaintiff’s side cases, and has won many settlements for her clients, using her keen negotiating skills and her broad knowledge of employment law. Lisa has published numerous articles and is a frequent public speaker on employee rights, discrimination and sexual harassment.
Lisa Curry is originally from Massachusetts. She graduated magna cum laude from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts and she earned her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she served as Harassment Advisor for the Law School. She clerked for the Honorable Paul K. Allison in the Court of Common Pleas, Lancaster, PA. Lisa is admitted to practice in the New Jersey and Pennsylvania state courts as well as the Federal District Court of New Jersey.
